Midland Oral Surgery & Implant Centers has proudly served Southwest Chicago and its suburbs for over 50 years. Our doctors’ extensive education, training and experience make them veritable experts in the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery, anesthesia and dental implantology. While our collective practice focuses on dental implants, bone grafting, and wisdom teeth, our doctors are also proficiently trained in the surgical management of the hard and soft tissues of the facial region at large. Utilizing intravenous sedation and general anesthesia, our doctors can provide many patients the option to undergo their procedures in a painless, pleasant and stress-free manner. Additionally, our state-of-the-art CT imaging equipment provides patients with unparalleled diagnostic and treatment capabilities.

Meet the Doctors.
Dr. Carlo G. Pagni
Dr. Pagni provides a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical services ranging from the simple removal of teeth to more advanced corrective jaw surgery for the treatment of growth deformities of the face and jaws which can lead to pain and loss of normal function and even to sleep apnea in certain cases. He is particularly interested in the reconstruction of the jaws to allow implant placement so that a functional dentition can be created. Dr. Pagni has extensive experience in treating facial trauma and pathology of the face and jaws.

Dr. Aaron G. Tucke
Dr. Aaron Tucke joined Midland Oral Surgery and Implant Centers in 2006. He is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio and the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After dental school he completed a one year oral surgery internship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then went on to complete his oral and maxillofacial specialty training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2006.

Dr. V. Bill Hajiharis
Dr. Bill Hajiharis is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon that has been with Midland Oral Surgery And Implant Centers since 2008. Dr. Hajiharis is one of the few "dual degree" oral surgeons, which means he carries both medical and dental degrees. As a physician and a surgeon, Dr. Hajiharis treats a wide range of complex oral surgical conditions. His specialties in Oral Surgery include placement of dental implants, cosmetic surgery, orthognathic surgery, and trauma surgery.

Dr. Faisal A. Khan
Faisal A. Khan, D.D.S., M.D. comes to us from the Detroit area. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. Following dental school, he went on to complete his M.D. degree at Wayne State University. He then completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St John’s Hospital in Macomb, MI.

Dr. Gilbert T. Guajardo
Dr. Guajardo is originally from the southwest suburbs, graduating from Marist High School. While in high school, he applied to and earned a reserved seat in dental school at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. This early admission to dental school is highly competitive, having an acceptance rate of less than 5%. He subsequently completed his undergraduate degree, earning a B.S. in biology, and then went on to complete his dental degree, graduating with his D.M.D (Doctor of Dental Medicine) in 2017. After completing dental school, Dr. Guajardo completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center, serving as chief resident in his final year. He underwent extensive surgical training, including rotations in internal medicine, general surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, and anesthesiology.
